I’m officially full term! 37w1d today!
We moved furniture around in the master bedroom on Saturday because we realized Elizabeth’s crib would have been in front of the air vent when I move it over next to my bed at night, and that sure would have been cold/bad! Anyway, I really like the new look! I’m still trying to figure out what I’m going to do when she wakes to nurse in the middle of the night…do I feed her in the scoop chair, sitting up in my bed, or do I walk out to the living room and sit in the glider? I guess it depends on what I plan to do while she’s nursing. If I’m planning to sleep, I need to be in the scoop chair, if I want to be on my phone/internet, I could sit in my bed (though I’m not sure how comfy I’d be there), and if I want to watch t.v., I should sit in the glider in the living room. Hmm, I really don’t know.
Last night, we went to Cracker Barrel for dinner (yum!) and afterwards we stopped by Babies R Us to pick up something I hadn’t planned on buying for Elizabeth: pacifiers. I started thinking about how much babies need to suck (some a lot more than others) and how, even though I am completely fine with filling that need, it might be helpful for times that I can’t. A few examples I thought of are: in the car, and while I’m in the shower and Maggie is watching her. I don’t know, we’ll see how she is; she might not need one at all. I bought two little tiny NUK 0-2 months silicone pacifiers – they are super cute. :)
Today, I have some food prep to do. I need to make Stephen’s lunches for the week, measure out snacks for the kids, and go ahead and make this week’s meal plan and grocery list. I also need to work on some homeschooling stuff. While June and July are done, and next year’s curriculum is even planned, I have stuff that needs organizing. Cabinets and some boxes. Shouldn’t take too long to do, but I keep putting it off.
Otherwise, there are no real plans for the day, which is just fine by me. :)
