In honor, I guess, of September 14th (lol) baby Elizabeth weighed 14.2lbs yesterday morning. ^_^ My chubby, little cutie pie, aww! She has the sweetest little face.
Possible TMI, but my nipples are quite unhappy with her at the moment. Because she doesn’t wake to eat at night, she acts ravenous and aggressive when she eats during the day. Every time! And they’re so full, so she’s off and on the breast, or nipple, and it has made me quite sore. Pink nipples, I have. lol
Oh well, this too shall pass.
So, we went to Hobby Lobby yesterday afternoon. Samuel picked out some fall garland for our front porch window and I found a really cute and unique garland for Elizabeth. It’s strung wool balls and, I don’t know, they look so earthy. I just love the colors. I had been thinking of maybe putting them in my room/her nursery but there isn’t any wall space that needs garland, so I found another place for them – the van! She can look at them while we ride.
I don’t know what’s happened but I have basically given up, or lost interest entirely, on grocery shopping. Lol While this might seem confusing, I actually used to like doing it. I liked planning a day and shopping for the week. Now? Not at all. In the last three weeks I’ve gone one and a half times combined. It’s like I’d rather stop by for a few necessities a bunch of times than go all at once. Is this because of the new baby? I don’t know; I never did this in the past. I’m also not meal planning which isn’t too smart.
Are you a motivated shopper? If so, help me get my motivation back!
Do you meal plan and shop once a week, or do you wing it and hop into the store as needed?
